Yeah...just moved into my single dorm today. This room honestly looks like if you took my room at home and just kinda compressed it into dorm fashion. Very homey. Unfortunately, I don't want to leave it : (

Ahhhh I don't want to go out of my room 8D I even have a friend from home out there and I still can't bring myself to leave. I really have to wash all my hands too, and the bathroom's just down the hall, but nooooo~ I'll wait until like, 11... and it's only 7:45 D8

Classes start on Wednesday...I only have one, and it's drawing. Talk about intimidating. And orientation is tomorrow. Nervooouuuuus.

I've been contemplating it a lot lately. A lot of other artists have been switching, and by a lot I mean basically everyone. Most of the reasons had something to do with "outgrowing" the account, or the name, or simply getting tired of it.

On the other hand, a lot of artists have been saying they'll change but simply...don't.

I'm almost at the end of my subscription on *SanctusRequiem, and that's mostly why I'm thinking about it now. I want to renew my sub, but I don't know if I'd want another account or to just keep this one.

Also, the name "Sanctus Requiem" isn't something I've really thought about for years. It's the title of a story I made when I was a freshman in high school...and soon I'll be a freshman in college. Maybe it really is time for a change? To show that I've grown past my old obsession with fantasy angels and demons and winged anime people. Most of the pictures I posted all that long time ago had to do with Sanctus Requiem, whereas nowadays I don't even think of it ever.

I want to clear out my watchlist too...there are a lot of pictures I skip over while checking my messages, and it isn't because I believe the artists the be unskilled, they're just things I don't really care to view.

I feel as thought I've accumulated a lot of crap on this account over the years. It's like my closet, which is full of crap I don't look at anymore. I think that as I'm starting as a college student soon I might want to make a whole new me on DA as well.

If I do move, it'll probably be towards late September, when my sub runs out. So what I think I'm asking in this entry is...how many people would bother rewatching me if I moved? I'd love to move, but I don't want to start over entirely from scratch xD

After these last couple of commissions I'll be free of Gaia-related art forever @_@; Or at least until I cave and become obsessed again.

I really want to draw some Harry Potter art, as I haven't in a while, but looking at all the nice HP7 stuff I've seen on here really stops the urge. I dunno, if there are other people more willing to illustrate my favorite parts, why not just sit back and watch until I really want to do something of my own? xD

Heat Wave is really all I can think about nowadays. I need to get more stuff done for it, all that's really even completed is the script for the prologue. I'm desperate to get it up and running, but I don't even know if I have the tenacity to keep it going for as long as I want it to.

And weaving its way into my life is college, of which I have recently found out many things :3 I went to NHIA the other day and saw my dorm (a lovely little single, which I can't wait to furnish), met a few people, and generally joked around with Leon the whole day. I don't know how I'll manage with him just down the hall for the next four years, we've lived a half hour away from each other for the past six years. I'll certainly go insane.

Gah, =Buuya, I'm so sorry I still haven't gotten to work on my half of the trade yet! ><;; I'm really still thinking of what to do, the subject matter is difficult for me since I've never seen 'Lost' and have no idea which characters to incorporate...I hope you don't hate me when I churn out something nonsensical xD;

Oh man, last week was a really bad time to start re-reading the Shoebox Project...I keep switching between that and Deathly Hallows.

Don't worry, no spoilers from me. I'm deeply against posting anything like that, as I stated in a journal exactly 2 years ago, when Half Blood Prince came out. Especially with the last book. It's pretty much sacred.

I've been wondering... =HoboRiss has a good idea of offering cheap bust commissions, and she's had basically nonstop orders. My hours at work keep shifting and I'm not making a terribly good amount of money at the moment, which is bad because I need to save up for college, so how would you guys feel if I offered bust commissions? I won't put up a poll or anything, I just want to know who would be interested. Bookmark commissions too, I really enjoy doing those.

Of course I'd have to finish up my last few Gaia commissions and the art trade I have with =Buuya (for which I still have no idea what I should draw D: ) So it might be a while before I do anything about it.

So did anyone dress up for the many bookstore parties on the 20th through the 21st? I managed to scrounge together a really neat Hogwarts uniform, and I saw some cool costumes as well. I want pictures, dammit! D:<
